The Western church’s growing tendency to blur theological differences and not uphold the absolute truth is contributing to the threat of radical Islam to the Western world, said a highly respected expert on Islam.Patrick Sookhdeo, the director of the Institute for the Study of Islam and Christianity, said churches are moving away from central doctrines that teach about separation and instead conforming to secular society’s ideology of inclusion.

“When faced with the uniqueness of Christ we become inclusive. He loves everybody so we talk about love, and hell and damnation goes out the window,” said Sookhdeo. “It becomes too embarrassing. So our church has conformed itself according to society.”

Sookhdeo – a former Muslim and advisor to British, American and NATO military officials on jihadist ideology – recently spoke to 1,500 people at Focus on the Family (FOTF)’s headquarters in Colorado

Academic publisher Blackwell has been accused of attempting to “dechristianise” the Encyclopedia of Christian Civilisation it was due to publish in order to make it politically correct. The Encyclopedia’s editor-in-chief, George Kurian, claims that under pressure from an anti-Christian lobby, Blackwell decided that entries in the four-volume book were “too Christian, too orthodox, too anti-secular and too anti-Muslim and not politically correct enough for being used in universities”. Kurian also claims that the press wants to delete words including “Antichrist”, “Virgin Birth”, “Resurrection”, “Evangelism” and “Beloved Disciple” from the book, as well as objecting to “historical references to the persecution and massacres of Christians by Muslims”.

12-year-old “Lia” of Toronto has become a star at her school and on Youtube with her five-minute pro-life speech, crafted for a school competition. Despite discouragement and outright opposition, Lia’s presentation was so well done that she reportedly won the contest she was told she would be disqualified from, due to the “controversial” message of her speech.

“What if I told you that right now, someone was choosing if you were gonna live or die?” begins the charismatic seventh-grader in a practice recording of the speech posted on Youtube. “What if I told you that this choice wasn’t based on what you could or couldn’t do, what you’d done in the past, or what you would do in the future? And what if I told you, you could do nothing about it?

“Fellow students and teachers, thousands of children are right now in that very situation. Someone is choosing without even knowing them whether they are

WASHINGTON – As the National Religious Broadcasters convened today in Nashville, an ominous shroud cast by political chatter about the reimposition of the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” in the nation’s capital hung over the gathering.”And we have a personal concern,” Wright told Broadcasting & Cable. “The only radio station that ever lost its license under the fairness doctrine regime was a Christian radio station in Red Lion, Pa. We are only responding now to the statements the Democrats themselves are making.”

He said he expects religious broadcasters, largely Christian, to be particularly hard hit because of the doctrine’s requirement for so-called “balance.” If an opposing view must be found for every matter of controversy, Christian broadcasters could find themselves in the unenviable and untenable position of seeking out other religious viewpoints – Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist or atheist –

Let me ask you something. How much is Christianity cost you?

How much is really cost you? How much if you had to suffer for the sake of Christ?

How much have you lost, for Him? 2 Tim3:12

I will always ask young people.

What do you talk about most? There is your god.

What do you think about most? There is your god.

What consumes you?

What do you have your eyes set upon? There is your mission and your god and hearth and your treasure. Deut. 6:14:15
